Job description a SAFe Agile Coach:
10+ years' experience as Agile coach in handling multiple projects and stack holders
Facilitate team self-organization, empower teams to make decisions, and guide them in adopting agile practices like sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups within the SAFe framework.
Educate and coach leaders on how to support agile teams, manage the program level backlog, and align team goals with organizational strategy within the SAFe framework.
Identify areas for improvement in the team's agile processes, suggest adjustments to workflows, and ensure alignment with SAFe guidelines.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between multiple agile teams, manage dependencies, and resolve conflicts across different program increments (PIs).
Deliver training sessions on SAFe principles, roles, and artifacts to all levels of the organization, including developers, testers, product owners, and stakeholders.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to agile adoption and identify areas for improvement based on SAFe metrics.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and collaboration within the organization to fully embrace the agile mindset.
Thorough knowledge of SAFe principles, roles, artifacts, and practices across different SAFe configurations (Essential, Large Solution, Portfolio, Full).
Agile Coaching Experience:
Proven experience coaching teams in agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks.
Strong Communication Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
Facilitation Skills:
Expertise in facilitating workshops, meetings, and team retrospectives to drive collaboration and problem-solving.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to influence and coach leaders at various levels to support agile transformation.
Change Management Expertise:
Understanding of change management principles to effectively guide organizational transitions towards agile adoption.
