Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Air/Sea Freight Specialist to join our Los Angeles team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of air and sea freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, compliance with regulations, and exceptional service to our clients. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth flow of international cargo, liaising with carriers, customs brokers, overseas agents, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate international air and ocean freight shipments from origin to destination.
• Liaise with carriers, co-loaders, customs brokers, and overseas agents to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bills of lading).
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FMC, TSA, or IAC and other applicable regulations.
• Track and trace shipments and provide proactive updates to clients.
• Manage rates and quotes from carriers and overseas agents for pricing and proposals.
• Work with internal teams (customs, warehousing, trucking) to ensure operational excellence.
• Resolve any issues related to delays, documentation errors, or customer concerns.
• Maintain accurate files and systems for each shipment according to company SOPs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in international freight forwarding, handling both air and ocean freight.
• Strong understanding of international shipping documentation, and U.S. import/export regulations.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software (e.g., CargoWise) is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of customs clearance processes is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business or related field
