Our Advanced Manufacturing team in
Space & Defense Group is looking for an
Associate Engineer to join them. You will report to the Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.
As part of our team, you'll be at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies helping to shape, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible. This is a unique opportunity to work on novel projects that blend engineering expertise with software-driven innovation.
As an Associate Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will: \n - Model and simulate factory processes to optimize manufacturing workflows.
\n - Develop and deploy AI-enabled inspection systems to enhance quality control.
\n - Design and produce 3D printed models of factory layouts and manufacturing processes.
\n - Innovate and implement new manufacturing solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
\n - Collaborate with cross-functional teams or work independently to deliver project milestones.
\n - Continuously explore new technologies and methodologies in advanced manufacturing.

To be considered for this role, you'll typically bring with you: \n - Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minor in Computer Science, or Computer Science major with a minor in Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong coding and engineering skills.
\n - Practical experience or hands-on skills in factory simulation, AI applications, or 3D printing is highly desirable.
\n - Strong problem-solving abilities and curiosity to explore emerging manufacturing technologies.
\n - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
\n - Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and innovation.

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $70,000.00-$85,000.00 Annually
Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
