Our law firm is seeking a motivated Maryland-barred Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse and dynamic caseload, handling cases from inception through trial and resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, excellent research and writing skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients.

Our firm serves local, regional, and national clients in a broad practice emphasizing civil litigation, bankruptcy, banking and commercial lending, real estate law, landlord/tenant law, creditor representation, foreclosure, and estate planning and administration.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of litigation matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel
• Maintain thorough case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements
• Stay current with legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations
• Provide mentorship and guidance to paralegals and other support staff

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Maryland
• 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably in creditors rights and real estate matters
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases with professionalism and attention to detail
