The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in public Audit and experience leading audits is required.
CPA a plus but not required.

Are you a seasoned Audit professional with 5+ years? We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven, and detail-oriented Audit Senior to join our growing firm. As an Audit Senior, you will be a crucial part of our team, helping us ensure the financial integrity of our clients. You will play a significant role in leading and executing audits and providing expert advice to our clients. This is a permanent role that offers opportunities for professional growth and development while working in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
As an Audit Senior, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Planning and executing audits in accordance with accepted accounting standards.
2. Reviewing and preparing financial statements and audit reports.
3. Conducting research on complex audit and tax issues and providing solutions.
4. Supervising and mentoring junior audit staff.
5. Collaborating with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the audit process.
6. Providing tax advisory services to clients.
7. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
8. Assisting in the development of audit plans and risk assessments.
9. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current audit and tax practices and legislation.
10. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in public accounting, specifically in audit and tax.
3. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and current financial reporting trends.
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ProSystem Engagement a plus.
5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. A high level of integrity and professionalism.
9. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
