Leidos has an exciting upcoming opportunity for a talented Chinese-Mandarin Linguist to be part of our mission at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, NE. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to play a pivotal role in supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. For this positions, candidates must currently posses a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Security Savvy: Current DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Educational Excellence: Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Associate's with 8+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience is also valued.
• Language Proficiency: Meet the Interagency Language Roundtable scale's language proficiency requirements within the past year.
• Master Translator: Translate materials with precise syntax and expression from Chinese-Mandarin to English.
• Research Whiz: Conduct comprehensive research and compile findings to support specific intelligence needs.
• Cultural Contextualization: Utilize your knowledge to provide cultural, social, and ethnic context in translations, including gisting or screening.
• Mentorship and Teamwork: Mentor junior team members and work cooperatively in a diverse team environment.
• Independence and Initiative: Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Interpersonal Skills: Engage effortlessly with personnel from diverse cultures. Proficiency in MS Office applications is a must.
