Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to reduce production downtime by ensuring that all CNC equipment-including lathe, Swiss, 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machines-is running efficiently, safely, and reliably.
Key Responsibilities: - Proactively perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned machine downtime.
- Quickly troubleshoot and repair CNC machines (lathe, Swiss, 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis) to restore production as soon as possible.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Replace or repair defective components such as motors, spindles, sensors, and drives.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate service records.
- Work closely with production staff to ensure equipment is operating at peak performance.
Requirements: - \n Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machine repair and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and CNC control systems.
- Familiarity with multiple types and brands of CNC machines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on reducing downtime.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
