We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Construction Contract Administrator to join our team. This position plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing contracts related to construction projects. As a Permanent Construction Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all contracts are compliant with legal regulations and company policies. You will be the main point of contact for all contract-related matters, and will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors. Responsibilities:

1. Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
2. Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
3. Examine estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
4. Prepare bids; process specifications, progress, and other reports; advise management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; and maintain historical information.
5. Coordinate with the project management team to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.
6. Review and resolve issues affecting company compliance and ensure satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives.
7. Interface with customers and business partners, conducting proposal preparations, contract negotiations, and contract administration.
8. Provide advice and interpretation of contract requirements and obligations.
9. Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. payments and shipping).

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, or related field is required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration or a related field within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in contract negotiation and management.
4. Strong knowledge of construction industry contract standards, laws, and regulations.
5. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex contract issues in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with contract management software.
9. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Professional certification in contract management is highly desirable.
