Job Description

Consulting Associate, Environmental Compliance (Entry Level) (Administrative) ERM is seeking a motivated Consulting Associate, Environmental Compliance who is interested in participating in a range of environmental and sustainability projects, to join our consulting firm in the Boston, MA area. RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide environmental technical assistance on compliance, sustainability, and due diligence transaction projects. Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, storm water, NPDES, and wastewater programs. Engage in chemical inventory and release reporting for EPCRA and other compliance reporting requirements. Research and document legal environment regulations at the local, state and federal levels. Perform environmental compliance assessments and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Support the development of environmental compliance and management system programs. Provide general environmental compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance as needed. Conduct inspections to verify environmental compliance at customer sites. Perform multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS :

BS in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related discipline. Master's a plus. Or equivalent experience. Recent graduate to 2 years of relevant experience. Ability and willingness to travel. Proficiency with MS Office suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols. EIT, ASP, CHMM certifications or similar are desirable. Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus. Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision. Local candidates preferred. For the Consulting Associate, Environmental Compliance (Entry Level) position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $59,094 – $66,950 (USD). An employee's pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. We also may have instances where employees fall outside of the range based on the factors noted above. This job may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are NOT bonus eligible).
