Job Description

. The Skip Team Lead oversees the day-to day operations of a team of repossession specialists responsible for locating customers and collateral. All duties must be performed with a high degree of professionalism and integrity while following all applicable laws and regulations. In the Role Makes outbound and handles inbound escalations while adhering to FDCPA and CFPB regulations. Training and daily work coordination for assigned team members. This includes classes and meetings with team regarding updates on changes to all state and federal repossession and collection regulations. Facilitate ongoing training on processes, procedures and ensure compliance while reducing loan loss. Assist and perform all daily skip trace activities to locate individuals for payment of debt and recovery of collateral. Maintain and establish new repossession and transport vendor relationships. Ensure all accounts are worked appropriately while meeting QA expectations. Completes required applicable paperwork including sending all required Federal and State regulation letters.
