Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers. Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT). Shift/Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, rotating call, must be flexible to work other hours and days if needed. Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license with good driving record, prior delivery driving experience a plus, ability to lift containers up to 75 pounds, comfortable driving in all weather conditions, strong customer service and communication skills, flexibility to work various shifts or overtime, and ability to use computers and tablets. Responsibilities include preparing and making deliveries on assigned route using company vehicle (non-CDL), packaging radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performing testing, loading/unloading containers, using handheld tablet for scanning and navigation, processing returned packages, maintaining vehicles, performing minor roadside repairs, and general facility cleaning. The role requires applying acquired knowledge to complete standard tasks, maintaining licenses and certifications, working under moderate supervision, and adhering to quality guidelines.
