About the Role
As a Dental Assistant Instructor, you'll guide and support students through their educational journey, preparing them for successful careers in the dental field. Your role will involve delivering engaging lectures, leading hands-on training sessions, and mentoring students during their clinical rotations.

Key Responsibilities
Teach engaging classroom lectures on essential dental assisting topics, such as dental anatomy, radiology, infection control, chairside assisting, and dental materials.
Lead hands-on lab training to help students develop confidence in performing dental procedures.
Supervise students during clinical rotations, ensuring they follow industry safety standards and best practices.
Assess student progress through exams, assignments, and practical evaluations, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new developments into the curriculum.
Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment, encouraging student participation and critical thinking.
Provide mentorship and career guidance to students, helping them prepare for success in the dental field.
Collaborate with faculty and administrators to enhance the program and improve instructional materials.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required.
3-5 years of hands-on experience as a dental assistant in a clinical setting.
Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques, procedures, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach students with different learning styles.
Passion for education and a desire to help students build rewarding careers.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and mentorship to support student growth.
Flexibility to adapt teaching methods for different learning environments.
Certification or licensure as a dental assistant is preferred but not required.
Prior teaching or instructional experience is a plus.
Basic computer skills required.
