Job Description
Allegiance Staffing has immediate opportunities available for FIRST and SECOND shift high-reach forklift drivers in Elizabethtown, PA. Positions are full-time, temp to hire, Monday through Friday, and require experience in high reach PICKING duties. The purpose of this position is to operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries to and from trailers, and move them to and from storage areas, the freezer, production areas and the loading docks. This is a refrigerated facility.
Duties:
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory control as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and operating procedures
Experience:
- Prior, recent experience in high reach picking
- Shipping and receiving knowledge
- Ability to perform equipment repairs is a plus
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and warehouse management systems
- Experience in materials handling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
