Job Description

The General Contractor is a member of the Restoration & Water Mitigation business unit focused on providing services to residential customers throughout the State of California. This business unit provides water damage restoration and repair services to homes impacted by rain, plumbing or flood damage. Job Overview: The General Contractor is responsible for assuring the execution of quality work to the companies customers. Working alongside the General Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Representatives & Restoration Technicians, the General Contractor will serve as the expert in California regulations and ensure all services are compliant. Support Sales & Operations teams in developing policies and procedures related to the delivery of compliant, high quality water damage & restoration projects. Manage subcontractors and labor related to the job. Skilled laborers will often need to complete portions of the project. While the General Contractor may have the appropriate certifications in some of these areas, and may take on some of the work, it could be necessary to hire others to complete the project. Guiding others who serve those experiencing significant damage to their property is not easy. We will need you to build foundational relationships based on trust, actively listen, and find ways to support a team to oversee several projects simultaneously. We also want a fun personality that enjoys getting results. Requirements: Active General Contractor License in the State of California Experience with residential projects in restoration or water damage & mitigation High level of integrity and ethics. Proactive communicator. Punctual. Timely. Responsible.
