ITI is currently seeking applicants for the following positions: Location: Washington, DC Job Id: 148 # of Openings: 1 Government Affairs Fellow (Part-Time) Summary: ITI is seeking a part-time fellow to join its Government Affairs team. This role is located at ITI’s headquarters in Washington, DC. ITI is committed to attracting creative, talented, and energetic team members who have a demonstrated interest in technology policy issues. Your responsibilities: Conducting legislative, political, and policy research. Tracking bills, regulatory developments, and current events related to artificial intelligence and energy, among other issues related to the technology industry. Assisting in the drafting of written materials for a variety of internal and external audiences. Covering congressional hearings, briefings, and off-the-Hill policy events. Other duties as assigned. Your qualifications: Current undergraduate, graduate or other advanced degree students focused on political science, public policy, economics, energy, and technology policy. Demonstrated interest and knowledge of technology policy issues. Research, analytical, writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365. Your intangibles: Flexibility, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills. Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Commitment to accuracy, detail, and follow-up. Customer service-oriented; possess tact, diplomacy, good judgment and discretion, reliability, and professionalism.
