Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Graphics Designer to join our team of professionals in support of the MCICOM COMMSTRAT Program.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Determine types of communication products that best achieve communication objectives.
- Develop conceptual ideas for communication products.
- Develop storyboards that articulate the concept for communication products.
- Produce audio products.
- Produce still imagery products.
- Produce illustrative graphics products.
- Produce multimedia products.
- Produce/reproduce print products (e.g. handbills, leaflets, training materials).
- Ensure COMMSTRAT products are tailored to specific key audiences.
- Ensure COMMSTRAT products are tailored to achieve identified communication objectives.
- Staff products for approval to disseminate COMMSTRAT products.
- Publish products developed in support of DC I&L and MCICOM.
- Capture data related to performance metrics of released DC I&L and MCICOM products.
- Process COMMSTRAT products for permanent storage and lifecycle management in accordance with applicable policy.
- Submit COMMSTRAT products to the Defense Imagery Management Operations Center and designated DoD central accessioning points for historical preservation and permanent national archive.
- Acquisition and develop still and motion imagery in support of DC I&L and MCICOM objectives and communication plans.
- Provide multimedia editing support for approximately 200 - 250 unique messaging efforts annually, approximately 15 seconds to two minutes in length on average, to support Command communication goals, using Contractor Furnished Equipment. Products will be used in multiple mediums, including, website, social media and other communication products. Editing and production will be required on a per-platform basis. Deliverables will use a mix of photo, still and motion graphics, video, and text overlays for use on various digital platforms with variations in format with respect to the digital platform. Material must be edited into a professional audiovisual product in accordance with industry audiovisual standards, adhere to standards outlined in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d), as amended by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (P.L. 105-220), August 7, 1998, and be usable by commercial news outlets when specified. Provide a monthly report of all multimedia support and deliverables.
- All photography should be captured in a journalistic style in digital format using Contractor Furnished Equipment.
- Photographs should be properly cropped, edited, and captioned with appropriate Visual Information Reference.
- Identification Numbers must be used according to Marine Corps and DoD guidelines to support archival and search/find of specific photo events.
- Photography products will be provided to support development of internal and external communications products, including print and online products, social media presence.
- The photographer will maintain a calendar and digital and hard copy archive of all photography-supported events.
- Photographs should be archived within one business day on government internal and on backup hard drive stored in the MCICOM COMMSTRAT office.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
Education/Experience
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of specialized experience, OR
- Master's degree and at least four (4) years of specialized experience.
- Must have proficiency in briefing and communication skills to senior Military (e.g., O-6 level and above), Military Commanders and their staff, organizational leaders, and peers.
- Must have experience working with a diverse and often conflicting group of stakeholders from a cross section of all staff divisions/efforts.
- Highly preferred experience as any of the following: Graphics Designer, Digital Graphics Developer.
- USMC or other military service experience a HUGE PLUS.
Clearance
- Must be able to pass a background investigation (minimum T-1/NACI).
- Active DoD Secret Clearance a big plus.
