Description Are you an experienced Sprinter van, or Box truck driver looking for an independent contractor opportunity? Drive with us at Hackbarth Delivery Service and be a part of our growing delivery and transportation business. As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy flexibility, competitive compensation, and the chance to run your own transportation business with our support.
General Route Summary: The driver will be handling retail, wholesale, industrial, and medical supplies. All routes are 5 days/week.
Vehicle type needed: Sprinter Vans or High Roof Cargo Vans - Pay Rate: $600.00 - $1500.00 per week!
- Schedules Available : Monday through Friday
- Total Miles: 50 - 150 per day
- Total Stops : 8-14
- Weight: Weight: Heaviest piece weighs 50 lbs. May have 3-5 of these per day or more
Vehicle type needed: 16'-26' Box Trucks - Pay Rate: $1,000.00 - $1,800.00 per week!
- Schedules Available : Monday through Friday
- Total Miles: 50 - 150 per day
- Total Stops : 8-14
Weight: Weight: Heaviest piece weighs 50 lbs. May have 3-5 of these per day or more
Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently operate a cargo/sprinter van to deliver goods to various destinations.
- Ensure the secure and timely transport of cargo, following all safety and traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and care.
Qualifications: - **Must currently own or lease a High Roof Cargo Van or Sprinter Van. **
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of navigational devices.
- Experience as a cargo/sprinter van driver preferred.
- Must be over 21.
- Knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy packages (Up to 50lbs).
- Reliable and punctual.
