Now Hiring Industrial Painters on 2nd and 3rd Shift!

Pay Rate: $22.75/hour (with shift differential of $1.75), OR $26.40/hour for candidates with 5+ years of painting experience

Shifts Available:

• 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
• 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am
• 3rd shift 4 day 10-hour schedule Monday-Thursday 8pm-6am

Job Description

We are seeking skilled painters to prime, paint, and touchup vehicles using power spray equipment and brushes. The role requires masking, unmasking, and adjusting masking as necessary to meet specifications. Additional tasks include cleaning and conditioning parts, performing light bodywork, and maintaining painting equipment. You will also mix all types of paints to ensure proper color, formula, viscosity, and consistency, as well as apply decals, stencils, and rust-proofing as required.

Responsibilities

• Painting: Prime, paint, and touch up vehicles using spray equipment and brushes.
• Masking: Mask, unmask, or adjust masking as needed.
• Cleaning: Clean, wash, and prepare parts for painting.
• Bodywork: Do light body repairs when required.
• Equipment Maintenance: Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble painting tools.
• Color Changeovers: Flush tanks, hoses, and spray guns before switching colors.
• Paint Mixing: Mix paint to the right color, thickness, and consistency.
• Chemical Adjustments: Perform titrations and adjust paint chemicals.
• Decals & Coatings: Apply decals, stencils, and rust-proof coatings.
• Work Area Upkeep: Keep your area and tools clean; do regular maintenance.
• I nspection : Check parts before, during, and after painting.
• Material Handling: Move parts using carts, lifts, or other equipment.

Work Environment

You will work inside paint booths in a hot environment with strong paint odors, requiring a full paint suit and respirator. The dress code includes jeans, steel toes, and a clean work shirt. Current staffing levels aim to increase to around 400 employees. The culture promotes both independent work and collaboration. Minimal overtime is expected initially, expanding to approximately 40-45 hours per week once fully staffed.

Sign On Bonus: Eligible for full time employees (Contractors would be eligible upon conversion)
$1,500 Total
$500 @ 3 months of employment
$500 @ 6 months of employment
