Job Description

Job Title: Automotive Internet Manager Location: Tom Hesser Dealerships (BMW, Chevrolet, Nissan) Location: Dunmore/Scranton, PA Overview: Tom Hesser Dealerships is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Automotive Internet Manager to oversee all digital and online aspects for our BMW, Chevrolet, and Nissan dealerships. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, tech-savvy professional with a passion for the automotive industry and a deep understanding of digital marketing and customer relationship management. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all internet leads are handled promptly and efficiently, leading a team of sales professionals, driving online marketing strategies, and organizing exciting events that engage our local community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management: Oversee and manage all internet leads to ensure timely and accurate responses from the sales team.
  • Sales Process Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and optimize effective lead handling and follow-up processes that increase conversion rates.
  • Sales & Service Lead Generation: Assist in setting and managing online lead generation for both sales and service departments, including appointments and follow-up communications.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and maintain all dealership social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.). Create custom content regularly to showcase new inventory, promotions, dealership events, and community engagement.
  • Digital Advertising: Work alongside the sales and service management teams to create, implement, and monitor digital advertising strategies across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.). Track performance and recommend improvements for optimization.
  • Community & Dealership Events: Organize and oversee dealership events, including but not limited to child seat safety checks, community involvement programs, and sponsored events. Coordinate event promotions both online and in-store to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Regularly communicate with all departments (Sales, Service, Marketing) to ensure alignment on internet marketing strategies, lead flow, and customer engagement.
  • Data & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create weekly/monthly reports for management. Analyze lead trends and identify opportunities for growth and improvement in online lead generation efforts.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing or sales management, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and lead management processes.
  • Proven experience with social media management and content creation (video, photography, graphics).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) and performance tracking.
  • Experience organizing and executing community events.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for customer service and helping drive dealership success through digital channels.
