You will secure placement data for assignees and reconnect those who are no longer employed or in school with new opportunities. Your commitment to preparing young people for the workforce is demonstrated through modeling, mentoring, and monitoring excellence in the eight Career Success Standards: workplace relations and ethics, information management, communications, multicultural awareness, personal growth and development, career and personal planning, interpersonal skills, and independent living.

  • Demonstrate and abide by ODLE Core Values and operating principles.

  • Provide workshops to exiting students and assigned caseload, and assist in planning and executing job fairs and career days.
  • Maintain linkages with military services, One Stops, and other external resources; secure job leads, set up interviews, and arrange support services.
  • Ensure all necessary licenses, certificates, transcripts, and documents for job search are completed before students exit.
  • Identify support services needed for independent living and make referrals.
  • Participate in the students’ Career Assessment Panel.
  • Distribute assignee checks timely and inform them about related processes.
  • Meet regularly with center staff to facilitate contact and placement information.
  • Secure all Personally Identifiable Information and value items.
  • Initiate contact with “former enrollee” assignees prior to or soon after exiting the center.
  • Use 678 data and the CTS system for resources, and present job offers to students, especially those with lost placements.
  • Complete and submit data forms for all identified placements.
