Junior Software Engineer

Hybrid (3 days in office per week)

Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate - $30.00 - $35.00/hr (Depending on experience)

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our team and support corporate applications and systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, including AI-driven solutions, while gaining mentorship from senior developers. You will be key in enhancing applications, developing interfaces, and collaborating with business stakeholders to meet organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior developers to enhance and maintain a suite of corporate applications using Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders to create effective technical solutions.
• Support over 170 interfaces for internal applications.
• Develop and maintain integrations between corporate systems and other enterprise platforms.
• Create and optimize SQL queries to support data-driven functionality and reporting.
• Assist in developing an AI chatbot to address questions and streamline request handling.
• Contribute to payroll automation solutions ensuring compliance with government regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business and IT stakeholders.
• Receive mentorship and guidance from senior developers to grow your technical and professional skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering (or similar field) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of database management and experience writing SQL queries.
• Basic knowledge of application interface and integration development.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
