  • Manage, organize, and maintain documents and records in paper or electronic filing systems.
  • Scan and file legal documents and mail.
  • Prepare and organize legal notebooks and binders for mediation and trial preparation.
  • Examine and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation.
  • Coordinate and oversee medical billing balance verifications.
  • Manage medical record-keeping and communicate with medical providers for medical records requests.
  • Proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as court filings and pleadings.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions.
  • Provide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining attorney's calendars and making logistical arrangements.

Job Requirements

  • Team oriented and exceptional sense of detail.
  • Independent, self-starter with who takes initiative and always goes above and beyond.
  • Outgoing personality and has patience to deal with vast array of personalities.
  • Ideal candidate is open to improving methodologies and constantly integrating new ideas into processes.
  • Exceptional writing skills and documentation including settlement statements, creating chronological support, and communications with clients and court systems.

Experience: 3-5 years
