This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Manager, Genetic Counseling Services - Pediatrics to:
* Lead overall planning and daily supervision of all operational aspects and activities for Genetic Counseling services.
* Address administrative and management issues to optimize efficiency and team morale.
* Partner with clinic management and medical leadership at the historic UW Waisman Center.

Education:
Minimum - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred - Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology or Genetics
Work Experience:
Minimum - Five (5) years relevant health care experience with a clinical or provider workforce
Preferred -
* Five (5) years relevant health care experience in an academic medical center
* Two (2) years of management experience
Licenses and Certifications:
Preferred -
* Licensed as a Genetic Counselor in the state of Wisconsin
* National certification in genetic counseling through ABGC.
