Title: Materials Manager
Location: Stilwell, OK
We are working on behalf of a global leader in aviation fuel filtration, who are on a mission to make the world safer, healthier and more productive. They are currently looking for a Materials Manager to join their team in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
The Materials Manager will oversee all warehousing, shipping/receiving, inventory control, planning, and purchasing functions across two operational sites—covering both capital equipment and aftermarket filtration products. This role requires a strategic approach to materials management, with a focus on optimizing procurement, demand planning, and supply chain performance.
You will implement tools and methodologies like PFEP, Kanban, Pull Systems, and SIOP to ensure cost-effective material flow, inventory control, and supplier quality management. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement through Value Add/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives, reducing costs without compromising quality or functionality.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Certifications like CPIM, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
Experience: At least 7 years of experience in materials management within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving capital equipment and aftermarket operations.
Skills Proficiency with PFEP, Kanban, Pull Systems, and SIOP. Expertise in strategic procurement and supplier management, with experience in military and aviation markets. Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and supplier negotiations. Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
