Job Description

Our client, a leader in Life Sciences, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Research and Development group supporting innovative product development. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Bedford, MA

Pay Range: ~$43/hr

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current products in development and their manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate as part of a cross-functional product development team to achieve project scope, time, and cost targets.
• Transfer robust products and processes from R&D to manufacturing and commercial launch.
• Communicate effectively with various departments including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Management.
• Utilize statistical software for data analysis and problem-solving.

What's Needed?

• BS in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of experience in a related technical area.
• Proficient engineering skills in problem-solving, experimentation, and data analysis.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively across various teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in Product Development and mechanical design, particularly with thermoplastics.
