Metallurgy Lab Manager (100-130K)

We are seeking a Metallurgy Lab Manager to work for an international manufacturer in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Your Role :

• Provide technical leadership and supervision to the Materials Lab Department.
• Schedule and oversee work tasks to ensure procedures are properly followed.
• Develop and train employees.
• Generate and review material testing data reports for internal and external customers.
• Provide root cause analysis and corrective action, along with technical support to cross functional departments.
• Maintain NADCAP accreditation.

Experience / Education Profile :

• BS in Engineering. A degree in Metallurgy / Materials Engineering is ideal.
• Knowledge of investment casting, heat treat, metallurgy.
• Previous supervisory experience of materials technicians.
