Sugaright is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to support and assist the Plant Manager in overseeing day-to-day plant operations. This critical leadership role ensures safety, quality, and productivity across departments, with a strong focus on employee development, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Plant Manager in overseeing all plant operations including production, safety, maintenance, quality, staffing, and logistics
• Train, mentor, and direct plant staff to ensure operations are efficient, safe, and aligned with business goals
• Maintain a clean, secure, and safe working environment in compliance with all standards and policies
• Collaborate with production planning, logistics, and customer service to meet customer expectations
• Provide engineering support for operations, process controls, maintenance programs, and equipment layouts
• Monitor and improve plant performance in safety, production, and quality metrics
• Lead initiatives that drive employee development and improve team culture and performance

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (Chemical or Electrical Engineering also considered)

Experience:

• 6+ years in manufacturing operations, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role
• Demonstrated success leading production teams with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
• Experience with process equipment, including controls, pumps, valves, flow meters, and filtration systems

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities using technical/engineering knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Acc

Compensation details: 75000-110000 Yearly Salary
