Peer Reviewer - Interventional Cardiology (Contract Remote)

Join us as a Peer Reviewer - Interventional Cardiology (Contract Remote) at Mountain Pacific .

Mountain Pacific is a Montana-based, non-profit Quality Improvement Organization engaged in healthcare quality improvement projects. We collaborate with Deloitte and the Department of Defense to review healthcare services for military members and their families. We seek healthcare professionals to serve as peer reviewers.

Qualifications:

  • Actively practicing cardiologist, at least 20 hours/week
  • Board certified in Interventional Cardiology
  • Willing to perform federal Department of Defense reviews
  • Veterans are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

Perform reviews related to medical necessity, standard of care, and quality of care.

Start Date:

Immediate onboarding and review commencement.

Compensation:

Payment per review varies from $125 to $600, depending on review type:

  • Medical Necessity review: approx. 45 min
  • Appeals/Hearing support: approx. 1 hr
  • Standard of Care review: approx. 2 hrs
  • Quality of Care review: approx. 2 hrs

Case volume varies; reviewers may decline reviews if capacity is insufficient.
