Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of capital and maintenance projects from front-end planning through execution and closeout
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans in coordination with plant engineering, operations, maintenance, and EHS teams
• Oversee contractor and vendor performance to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, delays, or cost overruns
• Ensure compliance with site safety policies, environmental regulations, and Process Safety Management (PSM) standards
• Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to stakeholders and leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and construction management
• Support project documentation, including capital funding requests, bid packages, and turnover packages

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related discipline)
• 5+ years of project management experience in a chemical manufacturing, refining, or industrial environment
• Strong working knowledge of project management principles, tools, and methodologies (scope, cost, schedule, risk management)
• Experience managing EPCM firms or contractors in a plant setting
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification or equivalent project management training
• Experience working with SAP, MS Project, or Primavera P6
• Prior experience working within Arkema sites or similar chemical facilities
• Familiarity with FEL (Front-End Loading) stage gate processes
