As of right now Flight Controls is considered a critical skill area. In fact, we still see staffing needs in the areas of cert/safety, system level verification testing, and DO-254 (AEH) compliance activities.

• Prefer prior experience in completing Flight Controls Systems fault tree work. Need engineers familiar with CAFTA to finalize and review fault trees from suppliers and merge into Boeing Faul Trees. Engineers need to have general safety analysis experience and familiarization with Flight Controls System Architecture.
• Prefer a mix of flight controls experience engineers to work functional decomposition, general flight controls integration, or control law updates. A portion of the engineers will be used to support qualification report review and generation for qualification testing Boeing has performed.
• Flight Controls Engineer who can perform lab hardware/software in the loop testing for 777-9. Lab test SMEs or others with capacity to quickly get up to speed with FC lab test tools and processes.
