Job Description

A contract position is available to support K-12 educational settings through virtual consultation services focused on Physical and Health Disabilities. This role involves providing expert guidance and collaborative support to teachers, enhancing their ability to address diverse student needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual consultations to Physical and Health Disabilities educators across K-12 classrooms
• Assist in developing and adapting instructional strategies to meet individual student requirements
• Collaborate with school staff to promote inclusive learning environments
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of accommodations and modifications
• Provide resources and training to enhance educators understanding and implementation of disability-related supports

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with students who have physical or health-related disabilities within K-12 education
• Strong knowledge of accommodations, modifications, and related special education regulations
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a virtual consultation format
• Proficiency with technology platforms used for virtual meetings and resource sharing
• Background in physical therapy or health services in educational settings is preferred

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Virtual service delivery)

Schedule: Full-time or part-time options available
Duration: Contract for the Nonschool Year (NSY)
