RN - House Supervisor PRN at Central Carolina Hospital summary:

The RN - House Supervisor PRN is responsible for coordinating and managing hospital activities during shifts under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer or Assistant Officer of Care. This role includes staffing patient care areas, managing patient admissions, and ensuring the smooth flow of patients throughout the hospital. The position requires maintaining professional growth and communicating essential information to the administrative team.

Position Summary:

Administratively coordinates and manages hospital activities on a per shift basis under the direction of CNO or AOC. Responsible for staffing patient care areas, coordinating patient admissions, managing flow of patients throughout the hospital and general supervision of hospital. Maintains own professional growth and development in nursing leadership and required licensure. Communicates important information to the CNO and other Administrative Team members as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education

Associate's degree is required

Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Required Licenses

Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required

Required Certification:

American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire

ACLS is required within 6 months of hire

PALS is required within 6 months of hire
