Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules.
- Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports.
- Sandbox environment management.
- Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
- Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, coordinating with stakeholders. Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders.
- Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer.
- User support tickets.
- Monitor and improve user adoption.
- New user and ongoing user training.
- Technical documentation Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed.
- Working with integrated applications including or similar to Conga, DocuSign, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Geopointe, Duplicate Check and other AppExchange packages.
- Assist in the evaluation of AppExchange tools for feasibility and impact.
- This is a solo admin role. Should be comfortable relying on consultants, Trailhead and Salesforce support, and the Salesforce User Community for help and troubleshooting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with Sales Cloud. Service Cloud or Marketing Cloud experience a plus.
- Trailhead Badges/Super Badges.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator.
- Business Process Management experience in designing scalable, best practice solutions.
- Interact regularly with global business units to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
- Translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Training end users and key stakeholders and responsive to questions.
- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports.
- Experience with Data loader, Excel, and export, manipulation, and import of data.
- Experience with data management, cleansing of data using de-duping tools, and Excel.
- Additional Salesforce certifications e.g. Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer.
- Experience with integrations of Salesforce and another system, using an integration platform like Jitterbit, Scribe, or Informatica. Preferably integrating with an ERP system. Experience with Epicor integration a big plus.
- Demonstrates continued personal/professional development and active in the Salesforce community.
- Apex coding skills, ability to create and maintain triggers a plus, not required.
