This role involves leading a team of Basis administrators, managing system installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and security, while ensuring high availability and reliability of the SAP landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring a team of SAP Basis administrators, providing guidance and support.
• System Management: Overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including NetWeaver and HANA platforms.
• Performance Optimization: Monitoring system performance, conducting health checks, and implementing improvements to ensure optimal system operation.
• Security Management: Developing and enforcing SAP security policies, managing user access, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• System Upgrades & Migrations: Planning and executing system upgrades, migrations, and OS/DB migrations.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Providing technical support and troubleshooting SAP issues.
• Backups & Disaster Recovery: Managing system backups, patch updates, and disaster recovery processes.
• Documentation: Maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Collaboration: Coordinating with other IT teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and operation.
• Project Management: Taking ownership of project tasks, ensuring timely and effective completion.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
