These are laborer positions needed seasonally by the Parks Maintenance Division of the Provo City Parks and Recreation Department. Provo Parks & Recreation is one of a handful of premier parks & recreation departments in the United States. What are the hours and duration?
This is a seasonal laborer position in the Parks Maintenance Division that is expected to last March - November of 2025. Normally 10 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch. Actual schedule determined by supervisor.
What are the physical and environmental factors?
This work requires strenuous physical labor, walking, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 70 pounds), and exposure to adverse weather conditions and some pesticides. Applicant must have the physical strength and agility to perform the work.
What is the selection process?

If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
