Job Summary and Qualifications

The Operations Director is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plan for the HR Service Center staff and leaders. The supervision and guidance include performance management, identifying opportunities, requirements gathering and overseeing process improvement initiatives. Additionally, the director collaborates with key stakeholders to identify areas for operational enhancement, develop strategies to improve performance and ensure measurable results through extensive data analysis. The director is also responsible for driving organizational efficiency and execution across multiple functional areas while complying with Corporate policy and procedures. This position will oversee tactical initiatives as the business owner, while ensuring a strong focus on continuous improvement, executing key strategies and maximizing customer satisfaction.

What you will do in this role:

  • Works with the Area Vice President to oversee all aspects of training for new and existing staff at the HR Operations Service Center
  • Develop and maintain a tool to assess the skill set of candidates and new hires brought into the organization.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to improve staff performance and capabilities; create an environment that promotes team orientation and customer service
  • Creates the vision and strategic direction for Performance Improvement tools to be used across the Operations Center
  • Develops a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values efficiency, savings and a commitment to quality
  • Ensure successful implementation and ongoing activities of the HROC organization, by working with process improvement teams to enhance and refine processes and procedures
  • Builds and maintains strong, effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders across HCA
  • Directs and/or Leads cross-functional process design teams to develop and implement solutions to complex operational problems
  • Work with the service group Directors to develop strategies to meet business needs and improve the customer service experience by monitoring audit results
  • Assist the HROC with staffing, contract staff, budgets, and applications utilized to monitor staff availability and performance.
  • Team supervisory experience in a dynamic environment, which included performance management, customer relationships and vendor relationship. Process redesign experience to improve organizational effectiveness.
What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelors Degree, required.
  • Industrial Engineering degree, preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification, preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in relevant work experience, required.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in HR service center, preferred.
