Job Description

We’re seeking a Social Media Coordinator to help shape the voice of a growing cannabis brand across various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook.

This is a fully on-site role based at our Los Angeles headquarters, Monday through Friday. We're looking for candidates who are already based in the greater LA area and familiar with the local market. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to support content creation, campaign execution, and community engagement, all while staying organized, managing timelines, and ensuring compliance. If you bring creativity, cultural awareness, and digital fluency, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and support the development of original, on-brand content (photo, video, written)
• Manage daily scheduling and publishing using tools like Later, Hootsuite, or Sprout
• Respond to DMs, comments, and tags with a timely and consistent brand voice
• Track trends across culture, digital media, and platforms to keep content relevant
• Contribute to campaign rollouts, influencer partnerships, and content activations
• Measure key metrics like reach, engagement, and growth; share regular reports
• Stay organized using project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com, etc.)
• Ensure all content adheres to platform policies and cannabis advertising regulations

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience managing or supporting social media for a brand
• Strong copywriting, editing, and visual storytelling skills
• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools
• Experience using project management platforms to manage campaigns
• Well-versed in trends across culture, fashion, music, entertainment, or lifestyle
• Detail-oriented, organized, and confident, juggling multiple deadlines
• Based in Los Angeles and available to work on-site Monday–Friday

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in lifestyle, fashion, media, music, or creative industries
• Video editing experience, especially for Reels and TikTok
• Familiarity with coordinating influencer or UGC campaigns
• Basic understanding of SEO or paid social advertising
