As a Software Engineer at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. You will be helping us solve the world’s most difficult challenges supporting such wide-ranging domain areas such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, health care, and homeland defense. What You Will Be Doing As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Develop Embedded Software Integrate algorithms into C/C++ applications Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Basic Qualifications: Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must also be able to obtain an interim secret prior to start. Must be a US Citizen. Experience with Embedded Software Proficiency in C++ Experience with Linux OS Knowledge of GitLab Pipeline Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams Desired Skills: Experience with or knowledge of multi-core and multi-threaded C++ programming Hardware/Software integration Working in large code base Agile/Scrum practices Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
