For positions requiring a security clearance, selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Requirements Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance Minimum of three+ (3+) years of Linux administration experience Experience with Software-Defined Radios (SDR) and Signals of Interest (SOI) Experience with virtualization technologies, VMware vSphere or Red Hat Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages Must currently hold a DoD 8570-compliant IAT II certification (SSCP or Security+ CE with appropriate CE/OS certificate) or be able to obtain within six months Desired Skills Experience with working in an Agile methodology environment Experience Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Experience with DevOps tools (GitLab, BitBucket, Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Ansible, Artifactory) or similar Description Focuses on integrating applications in Linux-based environments Works with NIWC stakeholders, development and support teams to ensure the platforms are integrated, available, up-to-date, and provide support for comprehensive (both automated and manual) software testing, and supporting Agile best practices. Provisions Linux servers in both physical and virtual environments Integrates a variety of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), government off-the-shelf (GOTS), and open source applications within Linux environments Installs, executes and troubleshoots containerized applications Troubleshoots quickly and efficiently in Linux-based environments Researches and recommends innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration and integration tasks [#CJ ] FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING Clearance Information SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL Travel Requirements Up to 25% travel may be required Diversity & Inclusion We strongly believe in the abundance of differences among individuals.
