Location (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?): Milwaukee, WI (ONSITE)Contract Duration: 13 weeks Working Hours: 7PM - 7:30AM Total Weekly Hours: 36 Job Title: (1) NICU RN - 12 HR Nights ***AUTO OFFER UNIT****Our Milwaukee and Fox Valley hospitals have both earned Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), which is awarded for demonstrating sustained superiority in nursing care*Start date: 9/29 ONLY - PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANYONE WHO CANNOT START 9/29 Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36 - Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week. (no guarantee of blocked scheduling)Primary Location: Milwaukee, WI Shift Requirements: 12 HR nights; 7pm-7:30a Float Requirements: Potential to float to critical care and peds unit. Will float in rotation with other staff. On Call/Call-Back: None Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday Required Certifications: AHA BLS, NRP and WI or Compact RN License required. AHA PALS preferred. Required Education: ADN Minimum Experience: Must have Level 4 NICU experience. Minimum of 2 years NICU experience & PEDS experience preferred. Experience with CPAP, Trach, High flow, etc. – Charting/Equipment: EPIC REQUIRED Unit info: Milwaukee NICU is a state-of-the-art, Level IV, 70-bed unit with all private rooms, and it's the only one in the state co-located with a birth center. They care for more than 750 infants with various health problems every year. Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates. Scrub Colors: Any professional scrubs Jewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn. **Flu vaccine required.
