Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $102,000.00/yr

Overview

Seeking an experienced UPS Field Service Engineer to support critical power systems across Northern California. This role involves commissioning, maintenance, and emergency support for UPS and related equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, and STS units.
• Perform equipment start-ups, testing, repairs, and modifications.
• Conduct site assessments, design reviews, and develop test procedures.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with technical support to resolve field issues.
• Participate in OEM and internal training programs.
• Update and improve Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years’ experience with UPS and critical power systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills; able to work independently.
• OEM experience with Liebert/Emerson/Vertiv, APC/MGE/Schneider, or Eaton/Powerware.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs; willing to work nights/weekends as needed.
• Familiar with basic computer tools and software.

There is a monthly car allowance and cell phone allowance. Mileage will be reimbursed, candidates must have a reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
