Job Description

Lake Valley is a vibrant, growing church looking for someone with a passion to serve who can lead us in creating whole-life worshippers of Jesus Christ. The right person will be creative, able to bring others along in building something new, and see themselves as a musical theologian.

The goals of this role include:

• Collaborate with the Teaching Pastors to plan and direct Sunday worship services and special services.
• Disciple church members by recruiting and leading teams for music, projection, and A/V resulting in engaging and biblically faithful worship.
• Ensure the proper functioning of all in-person and online media.
• Provide any necessary support to youth and children worship ministries.
• Participate in or lead a Community Group.
• Engage in pastoral duties like teaching, counseling, visiting, and guest follow up as directed by the Teaching Pastor.
• Manage worship budget.
• Model the LV mission to love like Jesus, learn from Jesus, and live like Jesus.
• Adhere to the staff core values of being trusting & trustworthy, hospitable, passionate, and collaborative.

Qualifications:

• Calling to serve the local church.
• Vibrant relationship with Jesus.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience leading worship required.
• Experience with graphic design preferred.
