Associate Litigation Attorney

Salary: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of litigation from inception through resolution
• Conduct detailed document reviews and comprehensive legal research
• Draft and file all court-related paperwork including pleadings, pretrial motions, and discovery requests
• Represent clients during depositions, mediations, and both trial and arbitration proceedings
• Engage in settlement negotiations to achieve outcomes favorable to our clients
• Maintain timely communication with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in litigation practices
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases effectively
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of clearly presenting information to various stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, insurance defense, or real estate law highly desired
• Demonstrated success in trial advocacy and complex case management
• Experience with legal software and tools relevant to litigation practices

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and analysis abilities
• Advance writing skills to craft clear and effective legal documentation
• Confident in taking depositions and defending clients during mediations
• Skilled in negotiation, able to manage delicate discussions to resolve conflicts amicably
• Adept at using legal technology and court digital filing systems
