Job Type Full-time Description Busy warehouse seeks associate to cross-train in all aspects of distribution; primary duties include adding received items to inventory physically and electronically. Computerized inventory system requires proficient computer skills, forklift/walkie experience a plus. Responsible for performing basic duties related to incoming and outgoing merchandise by performing the following tasks: Selects items to fulfill orders according to pick sheet. Move product and inventory using a forklift, WAV or Walkie-Stacker, or by placing it on a cart to be pushed to the packing station. Inspects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor Execute and document quality inspections per SOP Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations Pack orders in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using a computer. Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and reports discrepancies or adjusts errors. Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training and reports any dangerous conditions to management immediately. Participates in required on the job training programs. Adheres to the appropriate work instructions in the completion of assigned duties. Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements
