Job Description

Event Manager must be knowledgeable on how to develop, coordinate and execute events of all sizes. Each event manager is responsible for their own assigned events from concept through execution through post-event follow-up /budget closeout. Events range from marketing activations to non-profit galas to concerts and parades.

• Conceptualize theme’s for assigned events
• Idealize unique experiences and decor for each of your assigned events
• Implement, coordinate, and execute designed theme from inception to completion on all events
• Oversee and organize all event expenditures to remain within the allotted budget per assigned event
• Oversee and manage assistant event coordinator to assist you in tasks.
• Submit all invoice requests and vendor check requests via Wrike to the accounting department
• Manage client billing and vendor payments
• Negotiate all vendor contracts while creating said event budget.
• Oversee and execute the set-up of events, as well as, manage the flow and timeline during the event.
• Provide “WOW” customer service when dealing with clients and vendors
• Oversee and execute professional breakdown of the event.
• Maintain confidentiality of all WOW Factor’s client information
• Manage and maintain all vendor relationships made at WOW Factor or brought into the agency.
• Attend all client committee meetings, strategy meetings, planning meetings, lead all venue walkthroughs etc
• Follow-through with any assignments from start to finish
• Impeccable work ethic

Job Requirements

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communications skills
• Master the skill of Multi-tasking
• Computer skills (minimum: experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, & Excel)
• Basic knowledge of advertising, marketing, public relations, business, or economics
• Excellent organization skills and work habits
