We are seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist to join a 300-bed community hospital in Puyallup, Washington (just outside Tacoma, in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area). This is a 46 month contract beginning in mid-to-late September.
Position Details:
Setting: Inpatient Hospital (300-bed community hospital)
Start Date: Mid-to-Late September
Schedule: Variable Days/Afternoons
Duration: ~46 months
Responsibilities:
Verify inpatient medication orders
Supervise pharmacy technicians
Perform pharmacokinetics monitoring and adjustments
Provide clinical consultation to physicians and nurses
Support safe and accurate dispensing of medications
Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems
Requirements:
Active Washington Pharmacist License (unrestricted, in good standing) required
Hospital pharmacy experience required
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work variable shifts required
EPIC and Pyxis experience preferred
