Now Hiring: Life Skills Workers II | Life Skills Coach

Location: Abraxas I | 165 Abraxas Rd. | Marienville, PA 16239

Hiring Life Skills Workers II | Life Skills Coach to work directly with adolescents at our residential facility Abraxas I , located in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest.

As a Life Skills Worker II | Life Skills Coach , you will supervise and interact with clients, teach responsible living skills, and document services as you help BUILD BETTER FUTURES .

Wage: $19.38 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 3pm - 11pm

Have you heard? Our workforce program provides additional opportunities for compensation outside of the 40-hour work week where a staff member may earn up to $300 per 4-hour shift. Overtime opportunities available.

Life Skills Workers II | Life Skills Coach

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct supervision, leadership, and serve as a role model to clients while interacting in a therapeutic and meaningful manner.
• Implement the daily activity schedule and structure and coordinate client activities, such as Family Night, Structured Recreation, etc.
• Facilitate and document various psycho-educational groups via standardized curricula.
• Conduct scheduled and random head counts to provide effective people security.
• Assist with mentoring and on-the-job training of newer team members.
• Support the Abraxas philosophy and mission and promotes the Seven Key Principles of care.

Hiring Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
• Must pass criminal background check investigation
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
