We're Hiring: Network Engineer

Dallas, TX Area (Local Candidates Only)

What You’ll Do

• Design, configure, and maintain networks that support internet, voice, and VLAN products.
• Provision and troubleshoot network hardware (routers, switches, traffic shapers, firewalls).
• Optimize QoS and traffic management via monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with telecom and cross-functional teams on new solutions.
• Act as escalation support for complex network issues.
• Keep our documentation and knowledge base current and accessible.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and certifications.
• Assist with vendor management and SLA oversight.
• Be part of an on-call rotation for outages and maintenance.

Tech You'll Work With

We work with a broad mix of technology, and you’ll need to be fluent in areas like:

• Routing protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, GRE
• Cisco routing & switching (ISP-grade level knowledge)
• Firewalls (PIX), VPN concentrators, SNMP, RADIUS
• Microwave transport, DSL, cable modem systems, VSAT
• SONET, UNIX/Linux environments, and more

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of networking experience (ISP/telecom preferred) or a degree in IT.
• Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCDA) are a big plus.
• Hands-on experience with network architecture and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Someone who thrives on solving problems and collaborating with teams.
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas, TX area.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship).
