Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales & Project Setup : Assist in creating budgets, timelines, and statements of work (SOWs) for new and existing clients. Lead project kickoffs, set expectations, and set up projects in tools like Smartsheet and Resource Manager.
  • Planning & Coordination : Manage project timelines, assign tasks, and ensure proper sequencing and resource allocation. Lead regular internal and client meetings to track progress and address issues.
  • Resource & Budget Management : Update resource plans weekly, monitor budgets, track expenses, and address variances with clients proactively. 
  • Risk & Scope Control : Identify and communicate risks or out-of-scope items to the team and clients, suggesting solutions and managing scope changes.
  • Client Communication : Deliver weekly status reports, manage invoicing / client AR, and follow up on payments with support from leadership as needed.
  • Problem Solving & Strategy : Solve project issues independently when possible, escalate with solutions, and align projects with client goals. Spot opportunities for future projects.
  • Quality & Process : Support QA testing and business analysis tasks as needed. Suggest improvements to team processes and mentor teammates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement efforts internally to keep our Delivery Methodology and supporting tools/processes efficient and tailored to our projects and client needs.

Requirements

  • Experience : 5+ years managing projects for software or custom development, ideally in professional services or consulting.
  • Skills : Strong communication, presentation, and budget management skills with experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Tech Knowledge : Experience with Salesforce, Smartsheet / Resource Manager, Google Business Suite
  • Education : Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Preference for candidates with Scrum and/or PMP certifications.
  • Work Location : (Hybrid) Greater Charlotte, NC area / Remote

Salary Range

  • $75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience.
