Project Manager – Construction - Residential / Multi Storey

Miami, FL

$130,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a track record for leading large-scale residential construction projects? Do you have a proven track record in managing both multi-family and multi-storey developments from inception through to completion?

Our client, a leading construction company specializing predominantly in residential projects, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. As a key player, you'll oversee the successful delivery of a number of high-profile developments set to launch in Q2 of 2025, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale residential projects, including multi-family and multi-storey buildings, from concept through to completion.
• Take full ownership of project budget and schedule management, ensuring that projects stay on track financially and timewise.
• Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and fostering trust and communication throughout the project.
• Lead contract negotiations with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
• Oversee subcontractor management, including selection, performance monitoring, and resolving issues that may arise on-site.
• Manage scope changes, ensuring that any variations to the original plan are documented, approved, and appropriately managed.
• Work closely with project teams, contractors, architects, and clients to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers and site teams.
• Liaise with clients to provide regular updates, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically with multi-family and multi-storey residential developments.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong experience in negotiation, subcontractor management, and scope management.
• A track record of taking full ownership of budget and schedule management for large projects.
• Extensive background in managing client relations and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing diverse teams of contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• A relevant degree in construction management or a related field (preferred).
• A PMP, PRINCE2, or other industry-specific qualifications would be an asset.
